Adenylate is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H14N5O7P. It is an organic compound composed of adenine plus ribose plus phosphoric acid. It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in ether. Adenosine is a ribonucleotide, and deoxyadenosine is one of the four major single nucleotides (ATGC) that constitute the genetic material DNA in living cells. Often refers to adenosine monophosphate (AMP), which is also an energy transfer substance in organisms.
